Trade cards both ways
A trade happens on the Buy screen. There is no switch to set: once a card is going out, the deal is a trade.
- Add the cards coming in, as in Buy a card.
- Tap "Trading? Add cards going out" and search your stock with "Search stock to trade". Tap a card to add it.
- The deal now reads "A trade: cards both ways". "The trade" shows "Trade value in", "Going out" and what is left to settle.
- If they owe you, the bottom bar says "They pay you". Tap "Take payment", take cash or card, and confirm.
- If you owe them, it says "You pay them". Tap "Log deal" and hand over the amount shown as "Pay them".
How the difference is worked out
- In a trade, the trade offers count for the cards coming in.
- If their cards are worth more than yours going out, the leftover trade value is paid in cash at your cash rate, so you never pay out more cash than a straight cash buy would.
- If you round deal totals (Settings, "Buying"), the rounding applies to what changes hands.
