Bills and what you owe
Open "Bills" from the sidebar. A bill is anything the shop owes or has paid: the organiser's table fee, petrol, a box of sleeves, grading fees, the subscription. A show's costs are its bills. Bills show to owners, and to managers who can see cost.
- Tap "Add a bill". Say who it is "To" and what it is "For", pick a "Category", type the "Amount" and, if it has one, the "Due" date. A bill for a show: pick the "Show". Tap "Save bill".
- Unpaid bills sit at the top, soonest due first. One past its date is marked overdue, and the dashboard says so.
- When the money goes, open the bill and tap "Mark paid". Pick the day and "How": bank transfer, card, from the drawer, cash, or other.
- "From the drawer" is for a bill paid out of the cash tin at a show. It needs the day started in the Till and not yet closed. The Till's expected cash comes down by the bill, so do not type it as "Cash taken out" at the close as well.
- Paid by mistake? Open it and tap "Not paid after all". A drawer payment cannot be undone once that day has been closed, because the count already stood; add a correcting bill instead.
- On the Report, "Expenses" lists the bills on those dates by category, with "Net after expenses" under the report's own net. A paid bill belongs to the day it was paid, an unpaid one to the day it is due.
Good to know
- "Cash taken out" at a close is still there for the cash that was never a bill: food, parking, a note lent to the next stand.
- Bills need signal. Keep them at home or at the counter.
- A removed bill keeps its row, so nothing about money disappears.
