Shows and what they cost
Open "Shows" from the sidebar. A show is its name, venue, dates and tables. Its costs are a short list: the table fee, travel, accommodation, a helper, anything else. The report, asked for a show, takes the costs off what the show made.
- Tap "Add a show". Give it a "Name", a "Venue", its "First day" and "Last day" (leave the last day empty for a one day show) and how many "Tables". Tap "Save show".
- Open the show and add each cost: pick the "Kind", say "What" it was, type the "Amount" and tap "Add cost". A line can be removed with "Remove".
- Doing the same show again next year? Open the new one and tap "Copy costs from last time". It brings over the costs of the latest earlier show with the same name.
- After the show, tap "Report for this show". The report opens on the show's dates with its costs listed, "Net after show costs", and what that is per day and per table day, so one show can be set against another.
Good to know
- Buys, sales and counts belong to a show by date. There is nothing to tag at the table.
- Each cost is a bill. Open "Bills" to mark it paid, and how. A bill paid from the drawer comes off the Till for that day and counts once; do not type it as taken out at the close as well.
- Everyone in the shop sees the shows. Costs show to owners, and to managers who can see cost. Owners and managers add and change them.
- Shows need signal. Set them up at home, not at the table.
- A show that is over and done can be archived. "Show archived shows" brings it back.
