Not for sale, lowest prices and limits
Owners and managers set these. Everyone sees them, and the till follows them, with no signal too.
- Open a card from "Stock". Under "Selling rules" tap "Change".
- Choose "Personal collection", "Display" or "Held for later". A held card can have a "Back for sale on, optional" date: on that day the Inbox asks whether it goes back on sale.
- Set "Lowest price for this card" if it must not sell for less.
- For every copy of a product, such as a booster box, set "Most per customer" and how long the limit runs: one sale, a day, a show, or until a date. "Most to hold, buying" warns on Buy when you already hold that many.
- Tap "Save rules".
- Many cards at once: on "Stock" tap "Not for sale", tick the cards, tap "For sale or not" and choose.
At the till
- A card not for sale is still found when you search or scan, and says why. Staff cannot add it.
- A price under the lowest price, or more of a limited product than allowed, stops "Take payment" and the line says why. Staff change the price or the quantity.
- An owner or manager can tap "Go on anyway", type "Why, for the record" and tap "Go on". The reason goes with the sale, and the Team page lists every one under "Over a limit".
- A limit counts what a named customer already bought. A buyer with no name is counted for that sale only.
Good to know
- Cards not for sale stay in your stock at cost, and the totals show them apart. Use "Not for sale only" to see them.
- They come off your online store and are left out of listings, but you can still export them to a file.
- Settings, Selling, "Lowest sell price" sets a rule for every card: "Never below what it cost", or never below a percentage of market. Staff are told there is a lowest price, not your cost.
- Pricing from market in bulk never goes under a card's lowest price; those cards keep their price.
